The whirlwind just never ends. Just got back from work, from which I came. Before that, I was at the airport, since I was coming in directly from Montreal to work. I would have been back the day before but the venal pigs at United cancelled my flight, so I was marooned in Canada.

But it was a full weekend. First I flew up the Montreal, and did a recording session. Well, first I had to wait in line behind a planeload of people fur Bahrain, who made the trip through immigration take an hour and a half. Then I had to deal with some serious Quebecquois attitude, but I laugh it off. I like everything else about Montreal. Then, after the session, the VP of the TV studio insisted that we go out to eat, and that we drink wine, and he chain smoked and talked about women in a vulgar fashion. Plus he brought his sales staff, so I really felt like King Douche. Then I got upgraded to the Imperial Suite at the Ritz, which was nice, though in another way, it only set up a contrast to the next night, which was spent in New York State at a much less nice place, more like where kidnappers take their victims to bind them with wire and take a photo with that days paper to prove it is real. Then insane work on the farm commenced, which was good, though there is so much to be done to rebuild that it would really take about 30 days to get it done. But this was two days in the right direction. Then I came back to Montreal for the flight out, only to get delayed by a day.

Of course I would be remiss not to mention Angela, who worked like a trooper, patiently and carefully and with a commendable stamina. She is most impressive.

Not a bad weekend, really. Except that I seemed to get poison ivy of the head and face, I would call it a success. Also that I need to fight with United and all the aggravation they caused. But besides that it was a total success.
