Well, its been a while. And I don't want anyone to feel neglected or anything, but I"ve been a little busy, what with the old ball and chain out of commission. As you may recall, she had to have a rib out, which has really been the headline around here. So I know I missed a bit of explaining, but, rather than catch up, let's just say she is fine, though she lacks a rib. In case you are curious what that looks like, it is something like this:

There are many gruesome details to tell of, but I'll spare you. Let's just say I had to use a special anti-fecal soap to wash her with a sponge. Not that I was washing feces, that is just the soap they give you for sponge baths in hospital. Sounds much worse than it is, really.

 

Also, I brought in contraband soymilk, to sustain her, which I stored in an emesis pan, on ice. She was on a ward with kidney transpalnt patients, so I always felt a little guilty when I used the ice machine, because I would hat e to keep the soy milk cool at the expense of someone having a kidney donor kidney spoil for lack of ice. But anyway, after a few days, about five, she came back to life and ate bananas.
