This is a boat, which is what I row around Alcatraz Island and look at the frightening prison and see seals.

This is a shot of the cove that I have to row out of. On the right there is a boat from the civil war, that is open to tourists. In case you were going to suppose that it was sunset, it is actually sunrise.

this is the kind of ocean going vessel that passes. you can't really get a sense of the scale of it, but trust me, it's really big.

this is my oar. my left oar, you might say, only on a boat, that would be port.
