Wow. What a weekend. If we weren't going up to Stinson Beach to play volleyball with the monks, we were running back to have dinner with the Wired hipsters in Pacifica. Those Tibetans play some mean volleyball, let me tell you. I fell like someone punched my gluteus. Stinson beach was nice, though getting there meant a treacherous drive on the twistiest road you would care to be on, which was enough to make both my brother and my honey quite nauseous. But luckily no one actually puked. Actually, my brother who always brings the fun, had a wild flight out, where he got bumped from his connection and then met a girl who he made out with on the connecting flight. But more on that in a minute.

So we went to the Tibetans and had a lovely picnic with them, eating all sorts of odd foods they brought. Then we went to dinner at this amazing house, which was on the beach in Pacifica, and when I say on the beach, I mean it was really on the actual water, like you could throw a bar of soap out the window, or drop it really, and it would go in the water. So we had a lovely dinner there, with some interesting people, like a Swiss industrial designer who does all kinds of futurist design for Nike, and some writers and stuff. Adam, whose house it was, was nice to see, since I haven't seen him in about nine years. Really amazing house, even though you weren't allowed to use toilet paper in the bathroom, because it empties into the ocean. Which is gross.

Anyway, the next morning we went out to breakfast with the girl my brother met on the plane. She is a street performer. And she is moving out of town in one day. Very nice person, but of course, but not annoyingly uptight, when it comes to the kinds of things most people worry about. If you catch my drift. Anyway, we had breakfast with her, and she gave my honey a balloon that she twisted into a flower, like Steve Martin used to do and children's clowns do at parties. And then we went to drop him at the airport. Or actually in between we went to Fort Mason and watched some Filipino knife fighting. Then we went to the airport. Then to Mikes house for a wonderful barbeque.

Although it was a relentless action packed, weekend, it was all very nice activities.
