This is not a muscle spasm
There is nothing like a good night's
sleep. At least from what I have heard. I wouldn't know personally, as I wake
up at least four times a night. Usually it is from noises outside, or from my
honey jumping around in bed. Last night, right before bed there was this noise
which sounds exactly like someone walking around the apartment. And I dont'
mean a little. I mean, it sounds precisely, exactly, positively, like a person
walking around the apartment. I hear it about once or twice a week, and it is
kind of spooky. So I happened to share this view with my honey, that it was
not, as we had speculated, some odd sound trick created by someone walking upstairs,
but was instead a ghost. Boy, you'd think some people really fear the undead,
because just bringing it up made her all mad at me for scaring her. So anyway,
we go to sleep, then about 3 am I feel a tapping on my head. So I wake up and
ask her "what" as in "what do you want? Why are you tapping on my head and waking
me up?" Only she is asleep. And my first thought is that she tapped on my head
in her sleep, though I notice that the blanket is up around her chin and her
arms are pinned below it. So I figure I imagined it, or dreamed it or something.
And I try and fall asleep some more, but I'm laying there awake. And I feel
it again. This is not a muscle spasm, this is the very clear sensation of a
person tapping on your head. But all I have to do is open my eyes to see she
is still sleeping, so I can only conclude the undead was tapping on my head.
Which you might think is scary, but I figure if a dead person wants to tap on
my head, I guess it's ok with me. As long as they don't kill me.
