At last my betrothed has arrived. And not a moment too soon. I was a little nervous that she would not like the apartment I chose for us to live in, but she seemed to be ok with it. But I'm skipping ahead. This is the lobby.

I also took a picture of the door, in case you are curious to see that as well. It kind of reminds me of Spain, the way it's all decorated, yet reinforced to keep out the bad people.

Since I just got the digital camera, I was going a little nuts with it, and took pictures of everything as I went along. This is the corner of my street. Note that there is a view of the water. You can sort of see this from my apartment, but not quite as unobstructed as you get it here.

Turning left, I also took another picture of the park. As you can see, it's kind of green and full of dirt and trees.

On the other side of the street is a pretty fancy house. You can't see it here.

But you can here, sort of.

Anyway, I was going to the car, as I said, to pick up my betrothed. This is the view out the wind shield as I drove down the street. As you might be able to tell, there are a lot of hills in San Francisco.

This is me, driving 75 miles an hour, and my only view of the road was through the 1/4 inch viewfinder of the camera. Can you believe it? Also, note the sad ghost outline of my recently torn off New York registration.
