Well, so much to tell. I suppose I would be remiss not to begin with a cursory review of the film Kung Fu Hustle, or the film Coffee and Cigarettes, both of which I just watched. But maybe I'll skip that, other than to summarize both as interesting failures, worth seeing only if your tech-savvy friend has a way to defeat FBI warnings and makes copies of movies. Now, just in case you are a member of law enforcement, let me be clear, only a fool would violate a law with 250,000 fine, civil and criminal penalties, which is plainly stated at the outset of any movie. I'm just saying I wouldn't blow 10 bucks at the theater.

There is a more dramatic bit of news, concerning moving to Mill Valley, but given that the subject seems to engender non stop weeping on the part of certain spouses, I think I'll leave that one alone. But I will tell you this: I went out to Mill Valley last weekend for a walk on the Dipsey, followed by guacamole on a tofu burger, with El Rey chocolate for dessert. You simply can't beat that.
