My wife likes to say she is a dancer, even though she really isn't. Worse, she likes to tell other people that we are dancers, meaning she tells people that I am a dancer too. We have argued about this many times. It comes down to the fact that she says we like to dance, we dance well at weddings or in the living room, so that makes us dancers. I say dancers are people who studied dance, and even though she studied dance, I feel it is misrepresentation to characterize her, or us, as dancers. Because I'm thinking people get the idea she means Dancers when she says dancers.

She also believes people who get cancer can help themselves by eating raw foods. I don't agree, though I think it can't hurt.

But anyway, there we were, dancing around the living room one night a week ago, and talking about how she was approached at school and some stranger said asked if she was a dancer. And she said yes.

Oh, and my honey made some delicious cupcakes, though that is neither here nor there.

She also had a rib removed.

But back to the matter at hand. Last night, we were in a room full of people, and we were dancing around, as we do, and someone asked if we were dancers. Which I guess the point of this story is, we kind of are.
